Wood certification is an element of steady management of woods and is carried out with a view of achievement of economically profitable, ecologically responsible and socially focused forestry. In the course of wood certification conformity of quality of management by woods, лесопользования and wood resources to the operating wood legislation, national standards, criteria and the indicators regulating reproduction, protection and protection of woods, preparation of wood and other wood resources is established. Wood certification is carried out within the limits of national system of certification by specially accredited services which are giving out лесопользователям corresponding documents (the wood certificate, signs on wood certification) and carrying out further audit. The national system of wood certification should be sent with the international systems of wood certification.
